TECHNOLOGY FOR FIRE & RESCUE SERVICES

Coordinated dispatch. Informed crews. Connected response.

Connect the communications centre, stations, appliances and crews with operational information that supports mobilisation, incident awareness and coordination.

SDSI combines CentralSquare Enterprise CAD, connected field technology and multi-agency interoperability with local implementation, systems integration and ongoing support.

Coordinate mobilisation.

Bring incident, mapping and resource information together to support dispatch and the developing response.

Inform responding crews.

Make relevant incident details, hazards, access information and operational updates available through connected field systems.

Connect partner agencies.

Support controlled information exchange with participating Police, Ambulance and emergency-management organisations.

CENTRALSQUARE ENTERPRISE CAD

Support the decisions behind every mobilisation.

Capabilities depend on the selected version, licensed modules, supported interfaces and agency configuration.

Enterprise CAD supports incident management, dispatch and resource coordination for fire and rescue operations. SDSI configures, integrates, implements and supports the platform around the agency’s operational environment.

Connect the control-room operation with approved station, communications and field systems, helping information follow the incident as the response develops.

Coordinated Dispatch and Mapping.png

Manage the developing incident.

Support incident entry, resource assignment, operational updates and closure through connected dispatch workflows.

Coordinate responding resources.

Use mapping, resource status and supported recommendation tools to assist dispatch decisions.

Reflect agency response procedures.

Configure supported workflows, fields and response plans around the service’s operational requirements.

Connect the operational environment.

Integrate approved radio, station alerting, GIS, mobile and supporting systems through supported interfaces.

STEMCONNECT FIRE & RESCUE

Keep incident information with the crew.

Extend CAD-connected incident information, operational mapping and updates to authorised personnel across supported appliance MDTs, tablets and smartphones.

Help crews access relevant information at the station, in the appliance and on the incident ground, with functions configured around agency workflows and approved data sources.

Know more before arrival.

Access available incident details, premises information, known hazards and approved pre-incident plans.

Stay connected to the incident.

Receive CAD updates and exchange secure operational messages between authorised crews through configured connections.

Available information and functions depend on supported devices, agency configuration, connected data sources and connectivity. This does not replace incident command, crew accountability or approved safety equipment.

Understand the response environment.

Bring incident locations, responding appliance positions, access information and approved water-source mapping into the field view.

Support crew safety procedures.

Provide configured duress actions, incident warnings and acknowledgements alongside the agency’s established safety arrangements.

CONNECTED OPERATIONAL TOOLS

Bring relevant information into the incident workflow.

Where configured and authorised, STEMConnect Fire & Rescue can bring additional operational information into the connected field experience.

These capabilities require the relevant configuration, permissions, supported integrations and connectivity. Viewing roster information does not imply personnel-allocation functionality. Viewing drone video does not provide aircraft control.

Secure crew-to-crew messaging.

Exchange operational messages between authorised crews working on the response.

CAD-based roster information.

Access crew roster information maintained in CAD to support visibility of personnel and operational assignments.

Incident-linked drone video.

View an authorised live drone feed linked to the CAD job on supported devices associated with that incident.

Information exchange depends on supported interfaces, configuration, permissions and inter-agency agreements. Sharing information does not transfer operational command.

CENTRALSQUARE UNIFY

Coordinate across agencies as the incident develops.

Major fires, road rescues, hazardous-material incidents and disasters can involve several emergency services, each operating its own systems and command arrangements.

Unify supports controlled information exchange between participating CAD systems, helping Fire & Rescue, Police and Ambulance share agreed operational context while retaining their own responsibilities.

Multi-agency coordination at blue hour-3.png

Exchange developing incident information.

Share agreed incident details and updates through supported connections, reducing reliance on repeated verbal relay.

Support wider response awareness.

Make authorised resource status and location information available to help participating agencies understand the response.

Retain agency control.

Determine what information is shared, who receives it and how it is used within agreed operational arrangements.

DELIVERED AND SUPPORTED BY SDSI

Local expertise across the operational lifecycle.

SDSI combines public safety experience, software engineering and established technology partnerships to help fire and rescue services implement, connect and support their operational systems.

Understand the operation.

Work with communications, operational and technical teams to understand workflows, priorities and dependencies.

Design and integrate.

Define the architecture, supported configuration and approved information flows between the selected systems.

Manage implementation and change.

Plan testing, training, transition and upgrades around agreed requirements and operational continuity.

Support ongoing operations.

Provide 24/7 operational support under agreed service arrangements, with defined responsibilities and escalation processes.

Disciplined delivery. Defined responsibilities.

SDSI maintains ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management and ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management systems. Deployment-specific security and assurance requirements are agreed with the agency.

STEMPROTECT | COMING SOON

An additional safety layer for responders.

SDSI is developing STEMProtect to complement manual duress and established safety procedures, including situations where a responder may be unable to reach their device.

The design combines local, on-device safety analysis with agency-defined responder checks and escalation through STEMConnect and CAD. Routine analysis does not continuously stream audio or physiological information to the control room.

Start with your service’s operational priorities.

Whether your focus is dispatch, station information, connected crews, operational mapping or multi-agency coordination, discuss your requirements with SDSI.

We can work through your existing environment, the capabilities you need and a practical approach to evaluation and delivery.
