TECHNOLOGY FOR AMBULANCE SERVICES
Ambulance technology for connected dispatch, informed crews and coordinated care
Connect the communications centre, ambulance crews and supporting healthcare workflows with technology shaped around your service’s operational needs.
SDSI brings together CentralSquare Enterprise CAD, its own connected field and digital request products, Cleric ePCR and multi-agency interoperability—with local implementation, integration and ongoing support.

1
Coordinate the response.
Support dispatch decisions with connected incident, mapping and ambulance resource information.
2
Keep crews informed.
Extend relevant operational information to authorised personnel in the vehicle and away from it.
3
Connect supporting workflows.
Bring suitable transport requests, clinical documentation and inter-agency information into a considered operational environment.
CENTRALSQUARE ENTERPRISE CAD
Coordinate the response. Keep the operation connected.
Enterprise CAD supports ambulance incident management, dispatch and resource coordination. SDSI provides the local architecture, configuration, integration, implementation and ongoing support surrounding the platform.
Enterprise CAD supports the control-room operation. Connected field and supporting systems extend relevant information and workflows to crews, healthcare facilities and partner agencies.
Manage the developing incident.
Support incident entry, dispatch, operational updates and closure through connected workflows.
Coordinate ambulance resources.
Bring mapping, unit location and operational status information together to support dispatch decisions.
Reflect agency procedures.
Configure supported workflows, fields and response plans around the service’s operational requirements.

Connect the wider operation.
Integrate approved mobile, communications, mapping and supporting information systems through supported interfaces.
CONNECTED FIELD OPERATIONS
Keep operational information within reach.
Crews need access to relevant information while responding, at the station, at hospital and away from the ambulance. SDSI’s field products support different operational requirements and deployment approaches.
SDSI can help identify the appropriate product and deployment approach for your agency’s existing MDT environment, devices and operational workflows.
STEMCONNECT
A connected field platform across your devices.
Bring CAD job information, mapping, communications and operational tools into a synchronised field experience across supported smartphones, tablets and vehicle-based devices.
Offline-capable workflows support continued use of eligible functions through intermittent coverage, with information synchronised when connectivity returns.
FIRSTRESPOND
The job follows the paramedic.
Deliver encrypted job information to authorised ambulance personnel, allowing crews to review incidents, update supported operational statuses and access communication and duress functions away from the vehicle-mounted MDT.
Discuss FirstRespond where the requirement centres on extending job information and operational actions to personnel beyond the ambulance.
CLERIC ELECTRONIC PATIENT CARE RECORDS
Support clinical documentation in the field.

Cleric ePCR provides electronic patient care record technology for ambulance services and frontline clinicians. SDSI is Cleric’s exclusive value-added reseller for Australia and New Zealand, providing local solution design, implementation, integration and ongoing support.
Configurable clinical workflows.
Configure supported documentation workflows around the agency’s clinical and operational requirements.
Online and offline operation.
Support continued clinical documentation when network availability changes, with synchronisation governed by the deployed solution.
Local delivery and support.
Work with SDSI and Cleric to define configuration, security, integration, training and operational support requirements.
Interfaces and information exchange with CAD and other healthcare systems are defined and validated for each deployment.
CENTRALSQUARE UNIFY
Connect the ambulance response with partner agencies.
Serious road incidents, disasters and complex emergencies require coordination between Ambulance, Police, Fire and other participating organisations.
Unify supports controlled information exchange between participating CAD systems, helping agencies share agreed incident updates and operational context while retaining their own systems and decision-making responsibilities.
Share developing incident information.
Exchange agreed details and updates to help participating control rooms understand the wider response.
Information exchange depends on supported interfaces, permissions, configuration and inter-agency agreements. Clinical information is not automatically shared.
Support resource awareness.
Make authorised unit status and location information available through supported connections.

Retain agency control.
Define what information is shared, who receives it and how it is used within agreed operational arrangements.
DELIVERED AND SUPPORTED BY SDSI
Local expertise across the ambulance technology lifecycle.
SDSI combines public safety experience, software engineering and established technology partnerships to help ambulance services implement, connect and support their operational systems.
Disciplined delivery. Defined responsibilities.
SDSI maintains ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management and ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management systems. Deployment-specific security and assurance requirements are agreed with the agency.
Understand the requirement.
Work with operational, clinical and technical teams to understand workflows, priorities and dependencies.
Design and integrate.
Define the architecture, configuration and approved information flows between the selected systems.
Deliver controlled change.
Plan testing, training, transition and upgrades around agreed requirements and operational continuity.
Support ongoing operations.
Provide 24/7 operational support under agreed service arrangements, with defined responsibilities and escalation processes.
STEMPROTECT | COMING SOON
An additional safety layer for responders.
SDSI is developing STEMProtect to complement manual duress and established safety procedures, including situations where a responder may be unable to reach their device.
The design combines local, on-device safety analysis with agency-defined responder checks and escalation through STEMConnect and CAD. Routine analysis does not continuously stream audio or physiological information to the control room.
Start with your service’s operational priorities.
Whether your focus is dispatch, connected crews, digital transport requests, clinical documentation or multi-agency coordination, discuss your requirements with SDSI.
We can work through your existing environment, the capabilities you need and a practical approach to evaluation and delivery.
